One in seven adults in the Greater Waterville
area cannot read this sentence.

With your help, we can teach them how.

It's true.

One in seven adults cannot read
a newspaper, an employment application, or a bedtime story.  There is no single reason, no one cause on which to place blame.  The adult non-reader has many attributes, but does need help to take the first step toward reaching his or her potential.

Literacy Volunteers provides that help.
